HOW TO PLAY
Tap anywhere / Space — ring the bell. Lantern-lights cross the pass below; ring while one is between the posts to see it across: +1 each. One ring answers every light in the crossing. Ring for no one and the bell hangs heavy a moment, unable to answer. Let a light pass the far post unrung, and the night ends. M mutes.
THE STORY
The snow took the road first, then the fences, then every other way of knowing where to walk. Now there is only the crossing: two posts, a bell, and you, keeping the one sound the pass has left. The travelers come through the white with their small lanterns, walking by ear — ring while they are between the posts, and for a few steps the sound lays a road under them. No one has ever looked up; the bell is not for looking up.
