HOW TO PLAY
Two keepers, one device: left hand W/S, right hand ↑/↓ — or touch and hold, each on your own half of the screen. Alone: choose the wind keeps the far side on the title screen; W/S, ↑/↓ or touch moves your keeper. Meet the spark and it crosses back — each crossing is +1, and the spark burns a little faster for it. Past the teens, gusts shimmer before they bend its path. The hearth has three lights, shared. A fall takes one; the third ends the night. M mutes.
THE STORY
The last spark of the great hearth cannot be held — it burns whoever tries to keep it. So two keepers stand apart in the dark, over the place where the hearth used to be, and pass it between them: across, and back, and across again. Each crossing feeds the spark. Each fall feeds the night. It looks like a contest. It never was.
